As we begin a New Year, the SEMPRIS diary is already filling up with conferences and exhibitions that we will be attending and supporting.

6th March 2018 – The London Deanery National SEM Conference
We are delighted to be supporting to the London Deanery’s National SEM Conference on 6th March 2018, held at the Royal Society of Medicine, where Neil Redman, Director, will be delivering a talk to Sports & Exercise Registrars on the “Risks, Liabilities & Indemnity Issues in SEM.” – Event Sold Out.
20th March 2018 – Arsenal FC SEMS Conference
SEMPRIS is proud to continue its support and sponsor the Arsenal FC SEMS Conference once again. The one day event will be held on the 20th March 2018 at the Emirates Stadium and includes talks from Professor Richard McLaren on “The Doping Threat to Sporting Integrity and Player Welfare;” Professor Adrian Williams on “Physical & Mental Wellbeing Through Sleep;” and Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson. 23rd March 2018 – Cardiology in British Sport
On 23rd March 2018, SEMPRIS will be in attendance at the Cardiology in British Sport being held at Wembley Stadium. Speakers include Professor Sanjay Sharma, Dr Amanda Varnava and Professor John Somauroo from the world of Cardiology and from British Sport, Dr Nick Peirce and Dr Simon Kemp. 27th April 2018 – MedEduCare’s Duty of Sport Meeting
The 27th April 2018 will see us return to support the continuing ‘Duty of Care in Sport’ meetings hosted by MedEduCare at Chandos House, London. April’s meeting will be entitled ‘Making it Happen’ and will include talks from Professor David Lavallee, the World’s first Professor of Duty of Care in Sport, Mary O’Rourke QC on whether formal grievance is a useful weapon in the Sports Doctor’s armoury and Majid Hassan on “Looking at a contract and making it meet DOC standards.” For more information regarding this event, please register interest by emailing Barry Hill (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Looking further afield, we will continue our long-time support of BASEM with the annual BASEM / FSEM Conference being held in Leeds on the 4th and 5th October 2018.
