SEMPRIS is pleased to announce that with effect from 5th January 2015, the medico-legal service given to all members will be provided by Triton Legal – part of Triton Global Ltd.

SEMPRIS has always been proud of the excellent medicolegal service it provides as part of the policy. Due to significant and continued growth in membership, and the need to constantly review and enhance the terms and services provided to members, we believe it is both timely and appropriate to up-scale to the fully integrated medicolegal and claims handling services provided by Triton Legal & Triton Claims respectively.

The medico-legal service is led by Dr Michael Kyriagis, supported by Joanne Staphnill and Helen Fagg who have over 40 years’ combined experience in all aspects of medical law, including clinical negligence claims, complaints procedures, GMC and NHS disciplinary procedures.

The transfer is in keeping with the conservative approach and high standards we have maintained since launching SEMPRIS. Additionally, we are confident that Triton’s reputation and experience will add significant benefit to member services and the scheme’s development.
