In this edition, we wanted to take the opportunity to highlight the fact that levels of due diligence carried out by professional sporting organisations are evolving. This is resulting in higher levels of scrutiny around the suitability of professional indemnity insurance (also known as medical malpractice insurance) carried by the healthcare providers who are treating these organisations’ elite athletes.
