Happy New Year!

Whilst 2024 has already seen its fair share of turmoil, turbulence and injury in the sporting world, the year has started with much to celebrate and admire. As the prizes are dished out to the deserving, we’ve particularly enjoyed Pep Guardiola of Manchester City’s response to winning FIFA’s The Best Men’s Coach: “We are here because we won a lot”.

Here at SEMPRIS, we’re really keen to assist you, our members, through career transitions, to help you to minimise any disruption or confusion in relation to your medical indemnity when negotiating new contracts with your employers.  To that end, we would urge you to speak to us at the earliest opportunity when you are changing roles.

We are here to talk you through your options, specific to your own personal circumstances, so please do pick up the phone (0208 652 9018) or send us an email.  It is, without exception, always easier to understand your indemnity position before you make a decision and finalise a contract (and improves your negotiating position too).  Please don’t forget to let us know about any changes to your declared practice during the course of your policy year.

Meanwhile, last month was not short of interesting research and articles – here is a summary, in case you missed them.

If you have any suggestions for resources, studies or events for inclusion in future bulletins, please do let us know.
