In another exciting month of elite sporting action, March brought us the climax of the Six Nations Championship, with unforgettable performances at Twickenham, Murrayfield, the Principality Stadium and beyond. We also witnessed the drama of the ATP and WTA Indian Wells and Miami Open tennis tournaments, the early stages of the Cricket County Championship season, the Formula 1 season gaining momentum, and the high-stakes world of European club football reaching the business end of domestic leagues and cup competitions.
These events, packed with intensity and global scrutiny, continue to test athletes to their absolute limits – and the medical professionals who care for them. But it’s clear from conversations with our members, and our regular reviews of the literature, that advances in sports medicine continue to proceed at pace!
Please do let us know if there’s an upcoming event you’d like us to include in the next edition, and article you’d like us to highlight, or any vacancies you might wish to notify other members about.
